*Okusha-houtou -Treasure Tower of Okusha Inner Shrine-

Coffin of Ieyasu is put in the Okusha-houtou. It has not ever been opened since the establishment. The Okusha-houtou was a wooden building at the first time, but it became stone-made later. In addition to that, the 5th successive shogun Tsunayoshi reformed it in alloy-made after the big earthquake of 1683. Vase, incense burner and the candlestick, which is in shape of crane, are put in front of the Okusha-houtou. These were present from Korean King. There are two trees near the Okusha-houtou, and these are called Kanousugi and Fu.

The Okusha-houtou is 5m high.
It stands on the foundation of octagonal 9 steps.

The Kanousugi is believed that it makes your wish comes true. Omamori (Charm in a brocade bag) is available at the Okusha Inner Shrine.
