"Hyakuma-hyakushuno-ryu (Hundred Kinds of Dragons) are painted on the ceiling. "
It was collaborative work of Kano school.

Sculpture of tiger is put on the frontage of the Haiden. The tiger is a zodiac sign of Ieyasu. Also, sculpture of rabbit is seen on the Karamon Gate on the back. The rabbit is a zodiac sign of the second successive Shogun Hidetada. In addition to that, sculpture of dragon is put around the tiger. The dragon is a zodiac sign of the 3rd successive Shogun Iemitsu.

The Hyakuma-hyakushuno-ryu is collaborative work of Kano school, and every single dragon is different from each other. Tanyu Kano painted Giraffe and Hakutaku on the partition door. It is told that the giraffe appears only in the peaceful society. Also, the Hakutaku is the spiritual animal, which advises only for the king of virtue.
