*Kiyotaki Shrine

It is told that Saint Kobo built this shrine in 820. The Saint Kobo found the waterfall at craggy cliff on the back of the shrine. He named that fall as Kiyotaki because a miracle story came up his mind. The miracle story happened at Kiyotaki of Mt. Daijusen in India. The Saint Kobo built a shrine for Konpira Daigongen God. He renamed it as Kiyotaki Gongen God. Although, the Saint Kobo also built Shoufukusan Kongoujoujuin Seiryuji Temple, it also was renamed as Kiyotaki Shrine by the law in 1871. That law was for the separation of Shinto Shrine and Buddhist Temple. A Shinto event of "Yutate Shinji" will be carried out on May 15th.
