*Shaka-doh Hall

Shaka Nyorai, Monju Bosatsu and Fugen Bosatsu are enshrined in the Shaka-doh Hall. It is vermilion lacquered and is located in the forest.

Shaka-doh Hall was located in another place, where Okariden Hall of Toshogu Shrine is located today. In 1621, it was moved to Hotoke-iwa Buddha Crag, where Kaizan-doh Hall is located today. Also, Myodoin House was built at the same time. It was treated as a family temple of mountainous area. It also was called Buturyouji Temple and was used for Buddhist training. However, Shaka-doh Hall and Myoudoin House were relocated to today' place. Myodoin House was burned down in Meiji era, and only Shaka-doh Hall remains old time.
