Center is the amulet of Tsunodaishi (Saint Tsuno)

Nikko is considered as the ominous direction, where demons enter into Kanto region. This concept of direction is derived from Fusui. Although, this is an approximate understanding, the Fusui is the flow of energy, which is influenced by direction.

This amulet is effective to eliminate accident, which comes from the ominous direction. The figure of the amulet is like a leaf of lotus. This amulet was given to only Imperial family and Tokugawa family in Edo period. However, general public also can get it today. The amulet of Tsunodaishi is put on the back. According to a legend, the Tsunodaishi appeared in the mirror when Saint Jie prayed.
