Spiraea salicifolia. You can enjoy watching them from June to August.
Also, Japanese larch, Quercus crispula Blume, Ulmus japonica and
Malus Sieboldii grow gregariously around the marshland. Especially,

Its nickname is "Noble woman of Odashirogahara plateau."
Many hikers visit Senjogahara plateau in alpine
plant season. The Senjogahara plateau is not influenced by rainy
season very much. Therefore, there are many sunny days in the plateau
even if the central Nikko is rainy. You should check the weather
for both central area and your destination.
Also, Senjogahara plateau becomes cross-country
skiing area in the winter. There are various kinds of courses from
the beginner to the expert. Koutoku is the starting point of each
course. The Koutoku is located on east of the Senjogahara.
