Wild animals, birds and insects live in Nikko, where alpine plant
and trees flourish. For example, Japanese serow, Asiatic black bear,
dormouse, Sika deer and Japanese macaque have been observed. However,
relationship between animals and human beings has been changing.
Sika deer eats sprout of Kisuge lily. Japanese macaque asks people
for food. Visitors' manner and relationship between wild animals
and human beings are controversial today.
We should be careful not to disturb animals' lives
by stepping into their territory.
You will have a lot of chance to meet wild bird
and insect on the way of hiking course. Make your ears and eyes
keen to observe.
