There are variety of wooden crafts in Nikko that plentiful nature
and tradition can produce. For example, Nikko-bori carving, vermilion
lacquered painting, wooden clogs, and tea set are displayed. Also,
you can watch manufacture processes of these crafts.
Demonstration of wooden clogs making
Lesson for crafting is the most popular. Visitors can make the original
one through the lesson. It takes participants an hour and half to
complete carving. Expart will give you an instruction for Nikko-bori
carving, hand mirror, plate and round tray. You will just need to
pay for material.
Carving lesson for visitors
The first floor of the building is log tension,
while the second floor is grazing. There are demonstration room,
forest corner and lounge. This is the central facility of Forest
Park.
