A gorgeous gate stands on the east of the
precinct. The Roumon roofed gate is an entrance of front approach.
Roof is Irimoya style, and upper half of the gate is surrounded
by rail. Also, pillars are vermilion lacquered.
This gate was built
in 1982 for the 1200th anniversary of establishment of Oku-miya
shrine, which is located on the top of Mt. Nantai. Historical
value is relatively low, but you can imagine ancient times from
this building.
Kamishin-michi is
the approach, which connects Roumon gate and Toshogu Shrine. Giant
trees and stone lanterns stand by fence.
