Chugushi Shrine has many traditional events through the year. These are related to history of 1200 years. For example, Arrow Shooting Festival on January 4th, Ceremony for opening of climbing season on May 5th, Festival of climbing for worship from August 1st to 8th, Mid-autumn festival for climbing season, Ceremony for closure of climbing season on Oct. 25th. Many events are related to mountain, where God lives.
