The best way to enjoy the nature is to walk around. You will find beautiful landscape through the hiking course. Japanese oak, beech and maple trees are seen in the forest of broad-leaved tree. You will enjoy seasonal landscape and many wild animals.

Cherry blossom season is in mid- May. Spring is the best season for variety of azalea. Thistle will proud of its beauty in Odashirogahara plateau in summer. In autumn, Japanese oak, beech and Japanese redbud will change their colors to yellow. Also, azalea, maple leaves and sorbus commixta will change their colors to red. In winter, beautiful icy sculpture will be seen in the festival from the end of January to the early February.

Also, you can enjoy skiing at Shobugahama skiing area, where is located in northern lakeside. That skiing area is good for family members because slope is not strict.

Going around on the lake by boat or motorboat also is entertaining. You will have a chance to find fish because the water is clean and pure. However, personal motorboat is not allowed to bring in. Therefore, you are recommended to use public motorboat. It operates from April to November. You can get on the boat at Shobugamaha. Also, that boat will go for Senjugahama in July and August.
