spa is located near Futarasan Chugushi Shrine, where hotels and inns
are gathered. There are not many hotels, which are pulling hot water
directly, but visitors can take a bath in some hotels even if they
do not stay the night. However, it is not 24 hours service, so you
want to check when the bath is available. The fountainhead is Yumoto
hot spring. It started pulling hot water in 1951. The hot water is
in the state of near boiling at first, but it becomes adequate condition
while moving about 12km distance. The nature of the spring is hydrogen
sulfide. |
